Project Overview
Working alongside fit-out and building services specialists DOR Contract Services, our team delivered the internal plumbing, mechanical services, and secondary sanitary installation for the CPAC project at Ardfert National School.
Educational installations demand strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and water temperature control standards. This project allowed our team to showcase its agility in executing high-precision internal pipework distribution, localised water heating systems, and specialised condensate drainage networks within a school environment.
Our defined project boundaries excluded below-ground civil drainage and the external mains water feed into the water tank room.
Our Detailed Scope of Work
Internal Water Distribution & Safety Infrastructure
Pipework & Fittings
Supplied and installed all primary internal hot and cold water supply pipework networks, utilising high-durability commercial fittings designed for long-term institutional use.
Thermostatic Safety Integration
Supplied and installed high-grade Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) across the network to provide precise water temperature regulation, prevent scalding and ensure safety compliance for school children.
Pressure & System Protection
Supplied and fitted all network valves and thermal expansion vessels to stabilise internal system pressures and protect the school’s plumbing assets.
Commercial Waste & Air Conditioning Drainage
Internal Wastewater Networks
Supplied and installed all internal waste pipework systems to service classrooms and staff facilities.
Mechanical AC Drains
Engineered and routed dedicated drainage infrastructure specifically designed to safely manage and discharge condensate waste from local Air Conditioning (AC) units.
Sanitary Ware & Plant Installation (Second Fix)
Sanitary Ware Fit-Out
Executed the precision installation and connection of all client-supplied sanitary ware, student toilets and washroom fixtures.
Sinks & Localised Heating
Installed utility and classroom sinks, pairing them with specialised under-sink water heaters for instant, localised hot water delivery.
Water Boosting Systems
Installed and commissioned the Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) and its accompanying mechanical booster pump to maintain uniform mains pressure throughout the new development.
